Mo'Nique has made quite a few headlines in the past two weeks, for calling out Hollywood's most notable people for their actions. After putting Netflix on blast for an unfair deal, Mo'Nique turned her attention to producer Will Packer. Packer produced the films "Straight Out of Compton"; "Think Like A Man" and "Girls Trip."
Blavity previously reported that Mo'Nique accused Packer of trying to "ruin her character." However, his village is not taking the negative remarks lightly. Comedian Gary Owens, one of Packer's close friends, shut down all negative claims about his friend's character in an Instagram video.
"Mo'Nique blames everybody … Will Packer, has done more for black actors & actresses than just about anybody in the past 10 years….he is a good brother." Owens said in the video. He also challenged Mo'Nique to take responsibility for her actions.
