British actor Adrian Lester has joined the cast of indie crime drama Grey Lady, from director John Shea (best known as Lex Luthor in television’s Lois & Clark) joining Eric Dane and Natalie Zea, who were previously cast.
The film centers on a detective who heads to Nantucket Island to avenge the death of his partner.
Lester has signed up to play a character named Johnson, who is described as a plainclothes detective who is working to solve a case involving a killer who has disrupted the tranquil Nantucket island community where the film takes place.
Lester’s credits include BBC’s Hustle on the small screen, Primary Colors on the big screen, and playing groundbreaking black actor Ira Aldridge in on the stage.
