As the late Michael Jackson's family feuds over wills, trusts, guardianship and whatever else I'm leaving out, his older sister, La Toya Jackson, has landed her very own reality TV series on Oprah Winfrey's fledgling OWN network.

OWN has ordered the reality series, titled Life With La Toya, which will give audiences an "up close and personal look" at Jackson's lifestyle, as she "juggles the many demands of her famous family, finding time for lifelong friends and dealing with a growing entertainment business empire."

Life With La Toya will premiere on OWN in 2013.

"I am so pleased to be working with television legend Oprah Winfrey and to be a part of the OWN family… This will be one of the most exciting adventures of my life," Ms Jackson said.

Most recently, Ms Jackson took part in NBC's Celebrity Apprentice, although she was "fired" from the show in episode 8 during season 11, in 2011. But she was then "rehired" in the following episode, only to be fired for the second time on a week or two later, making her the first person in history to be fired from The Apprentice twice within the same season!

She was also a guest judge in two episodes of season three of RuPaul's Drag Race, and served as guest judge on the 17th season of America's Next Top Model.

Jackson's second memoir, Starting Over, was released in 2011.
