Bahama Breeze Is Closing All Of Its Locations For Good: Here's The List

Bahama Breeze is officially closing all of its locations.

As CNN reported, Darden Restaurants, the entity that also owns Olive Garden and LongHorn Steakhouse, says that it will close the 28 locations that are still open. The closings will happen over the next few months.

Half of these 28 locations will just close down altogether. The other half will be converted into other Darden Restaurants chains.

The news comes aftersome locations closed abruptly last year

Last year, the chain was announced to be on sale after 15 locations closed.

As The U.S. Sun said, Bahama Breeze struggled to keep up with its competition and faced similar challenges as many other restaurants that are struggling to survive due to rising wages and inflation

What Bahama Breeze says about the closings

The company said in a press release, “The company believes the conversion locations are great sites that will benefit several of the brands in its portfolio. Going forward, the primary focus will continue to be on supporting team members, including placing as many as possible in roles within the Darden portfolio.”
