Game 2 of the NBA finals tipped off Sunday night and while there were many famous faces at Scotiabank Arena to watch the Toronto Raptors take on the Golden State Warriors, one presidential sighting sent the sold-out crowd — and Twitter — into a frenzy.

Eternal POTUS Barack Obama strutted into the arena prior to the game with his signature leather jacket. He’s often been photographed wearing in the black outerwear since leaving office in 2016. An avid fan of basketball himself, this isn't the first time 44 has turned heads this year with his outfits when making public appearances. Back in February, Obama donned a bomber jacket while sitting courtside during the famous Duke-North Carolina matchup in NCAA basketball. According to GQ, that particular jacket was made specifically for the former commander in chief and retails for $595.

Obama and his leather jacket first made headlines in March 2017 after he and wife Michelle returned from a vacation in the Virgin Islands. Following a visit to the National Art Gallery in Washington, D.C., the first couple walked outside to a slew of onlookers and that's when we first caught of glimpse of the 57-year-old's post-Oval Office style. While the Hawaii native opted for a Black jacket Sunday night, brown was the color of choice back in 2017.

Y'all know Twitter wouldn't let Obama's classic dad look go unnoticed without chiming in with thoughts of their own.

Someone commented how the look reminded him of a character from a classic musical.

Another user was "ready to risk it all."

This may be his way of keeping up with Michelle's equally iconic ensembles. Nonetheless, seeing the former POTUS' style evolution reminds us its the little things that bring us joy.
