French dance duo Les Twins are being praised after saving the day as Beyoncé almost experienced a wardrobe malfunction on stage during her Renaissance World Tour. A video posted to social media shows that the 32-time Grammy-winning superstar came close to having her dress come apart and exposing her chest during her performance of “Break My Soul.”
One member of Les Twins noticed Queen Bey’s dress slipping while dancing next to her and smoothly glided in front of her to hide the malfunction from the cameras. That quick thinking gave Beyoncé enough time to cover her chest with her hand.
The BeyHive is now praising him on social media.
“Now that is talent. That he saw something happening and didn’t miss a beat while performing and allowed her to fix it. Love Les Twins,” one person wrote on TikTok.
Another person joked, “Les twins saved the Les Twins.”
Despite the chaotic moment, neither the dancers nor Beyoncé lost their rhythm on stage. “It’s the way he smoothly did it…like the way he grabbed her hand without missing a beat!” one fan wrote. “It kinda threw her a little bit til she realized what was (happening).”
“The amount of talent and professionalism in one clip is astounding,” another person added.
According to Us magazine, Beyoncé’s partnership with Les Twins, Larry and Laurent Bourgeois, goes as far back as 2011. However, the 34-year-old twins have been dancing even longer than that. In an interview with Us, Laurent spoke about their passion for dancing.
“It’s totally emotional,” he told the publication. “It’s like babies [when] they don’t know how to speak. Their body is speaking, when they’re mad, when they’re happy, when they’re super happy, when they’re hungry … their bodies are speaking and dancing 24/7.”
During her recent performance, Beyoncé was rocking a hot pink halter dress, one of the stunning, disco-inspired looks from her latest Ivy Park collection. Fortunately, she had a fast-thinking colleague who quickly improvised in the moment to save the day. Beyoncé kicks off the North American leg of her Renaissance World Tour on July 8.
