Danielle Bregoli, also known as Bhad Bhabie, is taking heat from the internet again. This time it's for her skin appearing several shades darker than when she first surfaced on Dr. Phil in 2017.

The rapper posted two videos to Instagram with her skin visibly darker than normal.

Black people have long criticized Bregoli for mimicking Black culture and making herself literally look like a Black woman despite being visibly white. The teenager is of Italian descent.

Bregoli, unfortunately, gained notoriety after being a guest on Dr. Phil, where she became a viral sensation after telling a guest "cash me outside."

Since then, the 17-year-old has gone out of her way to court controversy as a way to promote her fledgling rap career.

Over the past few years, many online have accused her of digital blackface, also known now as "blackfishing." The term "n****rfishing" was coined by writer Wanna in 2018 after she noticed a trend of white women seemingly cosplaying as Black women on Instagram. Dozens of other infamous stars, like Kim Kardashian and Ariana Grande, have been accused of similarly darkening their skin to make themselves look like Black women.

Twitter had a lot of thoughts about Bregoli's new look, with many asking why she was even still famous.

Unfortunately, Bregoli got on Instagram Live and thanked the internet for making her a trending topic.

"Aww I'm trending, thank you," she said. She went on to say that her "transformation into a light-skinned Black woman is almost complete."
