Big Brother Season 27 star Mickey Lee is in critical condition after experiencing several cardiac arrests.
Parade reports that the news about the reality show star was posted to Lee’s Instagram page, as well as a notice about a GoFundMe page to support Lee’s recovery.
“Mickey recently suffered a series of cardiac arrests following complications from the flu and is now in the ICU in critical but stable condition,” according to the post. “She has been surrounded by medical professionals and loved ones, but the road ahead will be long and challenging.”
The post also reads that Lee’s health crisis has left her and her family “facing enormous emotional and financial strain from mounting hospital bills to ongoing care and recovery costs.”
The family is crowdfunding for support for medical expenses not covered by Lee’s insurance, ICU and specialist care, rehabilitation and recovery support, and expenses from family travel, lodging and other expenses.

A Jacksonville, FL native currently living in Atlanta, Lee came one of the standouts of this season of Big Brother, finishing in 11th place. As described in the Instagram post, Lee “brought charm and fierce competition to the Big Brother house as an event curator and creative force.”
