Updated (April 25, 2019): Blac Chyna alleged admission into law school was all a hoax according to TMZ. Earlier on Thursday, the publication shared Chyna, whose real name is Angela White, shared an acceptance letter with the publication. But Harvard responded to the news by saying no such acceptance occurred.

The ploy was pitched to her as a way to better market herself and her brand and was reportedly circulated to other celebrities as well.

Original story: Blac Chyna is making academic moves. The social media celebrity and businesswoman will attend Harvard Business School to take her entrepreneurial skills to the next level.

TMZ reports class is in session for Blac Chyna, whose real name is Angela White, beginning May 29. The renowned business school has attracted the likes of other  scelebs such as supermodel Tyra Banks, rapper and actor LL Cool J and mega-producer Swizz Beatz

With a rigorous curriculum, students will learn how to interpret data to improve decision making, recognize and predict trends and learn how to be more analytical when conducting business. The Harvard course is reportedly 40 hours and will start May 29 and end July 24. Tuition is approximately $1,500.

Students can complete their course work at their pace but will be required to meet regular deadlines. Chyna will receive a certificate once the work is completed.

The 30-year-old has been in the news for several reasons, but the most recent announcement is by far the most positive. She recently took to Instagram to tell fans she is turning over a new leaf.

“Over the last couple of years, you guys have been given a perspective of who I am from the media and people closest to me,” Chyna shared in a message via Instagram. “I’ve been bullied, humiliated, manipulated and discredited as a mom!… Of course, I’m not proud of some of the pain I have caused, and I am working to be the best me.”

In the past few months, she was at the center of a skin lightening controversy while still recovering from her breakup with Rob Kardashian. The socialite wants to focus on being a mother to her two children.

“Blac Chyna doesn’t define Angela White as a person” she added. “At 30, I am overwhelmed with the blessings I have. Being a mother of two amazing children. I don’t talk on things often, but I promise to give you guys more of me. Angela White perspective.”
