There is nothing that can stop the Black Panther hype train.
Just a month away from its release, pre-sales for the most anticipated movie of 2018 has broken major records. In only 24 hours, fans have made the film Fandango’s best-selling Marvel Cinematic Universe movie in terms of advanced ticket sales.
"Black Panther is riding an incredible wave of momentum right now,” Davis said in a release. “It’s one of the biggest and most anticipated movies to ever open in the month of February, and its trailers have electrified the Internet. Tickets have been going fast ever since pre-sales started on Fandango late Monday.”
Big news this morning – #BlackPanther sold more advance tickets on @Fandango in its first 24 hours than any other MCU movie, besting previous record holder Captain America: Civil War. Long live the King! pic.twitter.com/JL1c28AgWm

The film helmed by Creed director Ryan Coogler stars Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa/Black Panther. Other major actors and actresses like Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker and Andy Serkis also star.
Since the king of Wakanda's first appearance in 2016's Captain America: Civil War, Marvel fans have been overtaken by regal hero's presence. His first solo film will without a doubt be the blackest MCU film as it centers around a political power struggle for T'Challa's crown.
Tickets are available now. Black Panther lands in theaters on Feb. 16, 2018.
