During a recent conversation on The Breakfast Club, Lil' Duval said some alarming things about transgender women. When asked what he would do if, after four months of dating a woman she told him she was transgender, he responded that he would kill her. Charlamagne Tha God responded that he can't do that because it's a hate crime.
why are [black] men so obsessed with being ignorant? idegaf about political correctness, but it's this fixation on this narrative. pic.twitter.com/U94iUB2o4k

Not missing a beat, Twitter quickly and purposefully dragged Lil' Duval and #BoycottBreakfastClub was born.
It is important to challenge anti-transgender remarks, jokes, and conversations. That is why I support #BoycottBreakfastClub

I support #BoycottBreakfastClub by ignoring them and celebrating positive black men on here like @itsRamel

I'm mad #BoycottBreakfastClub even has to be said. Shut that mess all the way down. We can and need to do so much better.

#BoycottBreakfastClub and #NoConfederate have reminded me of the importance of social media activism. This is how movements begin… pic.twitter.com/niG7RyI4uT

I've never been a fan of Breakfast Club. I'm not sure how they even have a platform or why people still go the show #BoycottBreakfastClub

From a journalistic aspect, I'm just here for the end of this "trolling/antagonistic for ratings" bit. B/c "trash." #BoycottBreakfastClub

The comedian isn't the first to say some questionable things on the talk show. Just last week, Rick Ross explained that he hasn't signed a female MC to his label Maybach Music Group because he would probably end up in bed with them. Many Twitter users believe that Charlamagne's popular show on Power 105.1 should've ended a long time ago.
