Former Uber chief marketing officer Bozoma Saint John has joined Endeavor Global Marketing as its chief marketing officer. The agency has been pegged to help failing pizza brand Papa John's recover from poor sales, reports CNN Money. Saint John is hailed for successfully bolstering the Uber brand during a scandal by boosting company morale and customer retention.

The pizza giant is doing everything it can to overcome the obstacle of dramatically declining sales.

Papa John's has suffered for a few years, particularly in 2016 when founder John Schnatter blamed declining pizza sales on NFL players protesting during the national anthem, causing a few faux patriots to boycott.

“The NFL has hurt us by not resolving the current debacle to the players’ and owners’ satisfaction,” Schnatter, who then served as the pizza chain’s chairman and chief executive officer, said on a conference call. “NFL leadership has hurt Papa John’s shareholders.”

The pizza chain created bad press for itself again in July when a recording surfaced of Schnatter's use of n****r during another conference call.

Despite the evident bigotry lying behind the corporation, they've chosen a black woman to save their sinking ship.

However, what black women should not have to do is save racist white men from themselves.
