A full circle moment on the court occurred on Monday night in Chatsworth, California, when Bryce and Bronny James played against Kiyan Anthony for the Geico High School Showcase on ESPN. Both of the school rivals have legendary NBA player’s sons on the roster — The James brothers play for Sierra Canyon, while Anthony plays for Christ The King.

During LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony’s high school careers, the two were once high school rivals, in the top three picks in the 2003 NBA draft, and went toe to toe for two decades in the NBA. Both proud fathers sat courtside to support their son’s game.

The game was intense, with both teams pushing for the win for four quarters. Sierra Canyon came out on top, with Bronny scoring 12 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals resulting in a 62-51 end game. Kiyan ended the game with eight points in Christ The King’s loss.

According to BleacherReport, fellow celebrities Scottie Pippen, Kim Kardashian, former NBA players Kenyon Martin, Nick Young and John Lucas III were all in attendance.

Hall of Famer and Chicago Bulls legend Pippen supported his son, Justin Pippen, who plays for Sierra Canyon.

Postgame, the James family and Anthony family came together to capture the special moment. Social media went into a frenzy as the family photo circled the internet, reminding basketball fans of the past era with LeBron and Carmelo on the court.

The game served as a prelude to what’s to come as multiple generations of basketball are coming up in their young careers.

As for their sons, they are on the course of making their own strides. Bronny has received numerous college offers but has yet to make a decision. For now, he’s focused on the game and locking down opportunities with his dad. Both father and son were featured in the new Beats by Dre commercial.

At just 15 years old, Kiyan received college offers, one being from his dad’s alma mater Syracuse University.
