Brooklyn Sudano has landed the 4th lead role in Lifetime’s original movie "With This Ring," which will be directed by Nzingha Stewart from her own screenplay.
The romantic comedy follows 3 single best friends who vow to get themselves hitched within a year, after they attend the lavish New Year’s Eve wedding of a 4th friend.
Sudano joins Jill Scott, Eve and Regina Hall, to play a character named Elise, the 4th friend who’s getting married, but gets cold feet.
The Sony Pictures Television-produced project boasts Tracey Edmonds, Sheila Ducksworth and Gabrielle Union as executive producers.
Shooting begins next month.
The projects joins a long line of African American-targeted movies greenlit by Lifetime recently, including the all-black remake of "Steel Magnolias," as well as "A Day Late and a Dollar Short," "Abducted," "Betty & Coretta," and biopics on Gabby Douglas, Whitney Houston, Aaliyah, and more.
