Maybe it was the never-ending rain the east coast has been drowning in or he just couldn't wait any longer but while you were catching some zZz's, Bryson Tiller released his long-awaited sophomore album, True To Self.

The19 track album provides a strong 90s hip-hop/R&B feel (do y'all hear those SWV, 112, Faith Evans and Mary J. Blige samples tho??) but it stays true to the era of singer/rapper crooning over heavy hitting beats brought to you by producers such as Boi-1da (Drake, Jay Z, Nicki Minaj), Illmind (J. Cole, Good Music, Cash Money) and WondaGurl (Rihanna, Big Sean, Travis Scott). Just like his 2015 debut album, T R A P S O U L, Tiller stays true to self and drops an entire project with just himself–no features.

Tiller also gifted us with a video for his first single, Somethin Tells Me, blessing us with an abundance of black and brown eye candy.

You can stream True To Self on Apple Music, Spotify and Tidal. Get those weekend vibes started early.
