Cardi B took to Instagram to reveal that she and former beau Offset have parted ways. In a video to her fans, the 26-year-old rapper and mother explained that her marriage with Migos rapper Offset had been on the rocks for a minute. The pair's daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus, was born in July.

"So, everybody been bugging me and everything. And you know, I been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now," she said. "And we're really good friends and you know we're really good business partners and you know, he's always somebody that I run to, to talk to and we got a lot of love for each other, but things just haven't been working out between us for a long time."

The former couple secretly married last September before the rapper formally proposed to Cardi, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, on stage at the Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia. She was seen in a video bursting with excitement while Offset got down on one knee. However, TMZ reported the couple had been already married for a month at the time of the "proposal."

Despite the announcement of the split, the two have been seen together at recent events including the Jingle BallVariety Hitmakers and an Atlanta Hawks basketball game

He has since responded to the split announcement cryptically commenting, "y'all won," under the Instagram post

"It’s nobody fault I guess we just grew out of love, but we are not together anymore. I don’t know, it might take time to get a divorce, and I’m going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father,” the hit-making female rapper concluded.

Earlier in the year, cheating rumors stirred about the Migos rapper, which led to a fight at Angel’s Strip Club in New York City. Cardi surrendered to police and was charged with assault and reckless endangerment after attacking a woman at the New York strip club, who she believed had an affair with her husband.

The mother addressed the rumors in an October interview with W Magazine where she said she started to "believe them" at some point.

“Every single day, there’s rumors about me and my dude. And it almost drives me crazy, because I start to believe them. I don’t have no proof. I don’t have receipts. But I just got to know my man,” she stated.
