Cardi B isn’t waiting on Tasha K to give her the money she owes her, she’s taking it. In a recent attempt to collect her $4 million settlement, Cardi has begun the paperwork to garnish Tasha’s YouTube checks. According to Radar Online, Cardi has filed the paperwork with Google to get her piece of Tasha’s checks.
This effort is one of many attempts that Cardi has had to pull to get her money. As Blavity reported, Tasha K, legally known as LaTasha Kebe, was sued by Cardi for defamation. On her show, UnWineWithTashaK, Kebe made lewd comments about the Bronx rapper.
One of Kebe’s videos, cited in the lawsuit, stated Cardi performed sex acts “with beer bottles on f**king stripper stages,” Billboard reports.
Attorneys also said the blogger made other damaging claims, including statements about Cardi contracting herpes, working as a prostitute, cheating on her husband and using drugs.
After the judgment stating how much she owed, Kebe responded, “I don’t have it.”
Kebe began to show signs of an effort to pay off her debt. Blavity previously reported she downsized from her Atlanta home to a smaller apartment in Florida. But some were suspicious that those efforts were so she could run off on the plug.
Kebe then posted to her Instagram on Sep. 13, mentioning a new life in Africa. The post’s location was tagged as Morocco.
Fans speculated that Kebe had moved to Africa to get out of paying Cardi the settlement.

“Life in Africa is turning out to be exactly what I needed,” she wrote. “A fresh start! This week I will be releasing my first VLOG of my new life in Africa and showing you all our expanded family.”
Tasha denied her trip abroad was an attempt to get out of paying her debt. She claimed she was setting up shop to expand her empire, Kebe Studios.
Cardi and her legal team had enough of the cat-and-mouse games and then took to Kebe’s bank accounts to seize the money.
Once again, Kebe came up short when it was reported she and her company, Kebe Studios, had only $1,083.02 in their JP Morgan Chase accounts.
Cardi’s legal team has now issued seizure documents to Google, which owns YouTube. They are demanding that Google hold all funds that Kebe may make from her channel until her payment with Cardi is settled.
According to Radar Online, the documents stated, “YOU ARE HEREBY COMMANDED to immediately hold all money, including wages, and other property, except what is known to be exempt, belonging to the Defendant or obligations owed to the Defendant named above beginning on the day of service of this summons and including the next 1,095 days.”
Google has yet to respond to the notice.
