Cardi B is not one to shy away from working with the new rap girls. She has done songs with Megan Thee Stallion and Lizzo, and even requested that Latto be a part of the “WAP” music video. In addition, just a few weeks ago, the 30-year-old joined GloRilla on the song of the summer, “Tomorrow 2,” which helped the Memphis newcomer land her first Billboard top 10. Now, shortly after the two connected at the club, Cardi B and Ice Spice have officially recorded a track together.

Just days before her 30th birthday, Cardi posted a video modeling a little black Balmain mini-dress before heading out for a night on the town. Over the video played Ice Spice’s viral hit, “Munch,” this time featuring a never-before-heard verse from the “Bodak Yellow” rapper.

Fans rushed to the comments to sing Cardi’s praises.

“You ate this verse,” said one commenter.

“It’s like whenever I’m feeling down, you drop a song to make me feel better,” replied another.

Many fans were left wondering when the full remix was coming.  Unfortunately to their disappointment, the mother of two hopped on Twitter soon after posting the video to share that the remix won’t be dropping soon because although she likes her verse, she doesn’t love it.

According to OkayPlayer, Ice Spice shouted out Cardi in an interview with Audiomack in June for putting their borough, The Bronx, back “on the map.”

“Cardi B put the Bronx on the map again, especially for females,” Ice Spice told the publication. “But also because it’s the last authentic borough. I think people are interested in how it truly is, in how everybody from here is really from here. Our parents are from here, our grandparents are from here, you know? People are just really interested in our culture. They’re fascinated by how raw it is.”

It seems only time will tell if Cardi B will change her mind about hopping on the “Munch” remix.
