The beef between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj has escalated into a physical altercation.
According to USA Today, the two New York-based rappers were attending the Harper's Bazaar Icons party Friday night when Cardi B threw a shoe and lunged at the "Chun-Li" artist.

The altercation was initiated by comments Nicki made about Cardi's parenting skills and child, Kulture, according to an Instagram post Cardi shared after the incident:
TMZ first reported about the incident, stating Cardi went over to Nicki's table to confront her about recent beef. When she tried to throw her shoe, Nicki's security promptly stepped in, leaving Cardi with a bump on her head.
Moments later, Nicki could be seen blowing kisses to a crowd of people and unfazed by the situation.
