Naomi Campbell - EMPIRESome recent casting news not previously reported on this blog…

First, Naomi Campbell has booked a multi-episode arc on the next season of "American Horror Story: Hotel." She will play a fashion editor who pays the ultimate price for her critiques, and will go head-to-head with the anthology series’ new star, Lady Gaga, as well as returning AHS alum Angela Bassett.

Second, LaMonica Garrett ("Sons Of Anarchy") has joined the cast of “XOXO,” the feature directorial debut of Christopher Louie from a script by Dylan Meyer, which follows six strangers whose lives become intertwined over the course of a long, romantic night. Garrett joins the previously cast Ryan Hansen, Sarah Hyland, Graham Phillips, and Chris D’Elia.

Third, Aisha Hinds and Mo McRae have been cast opposite Bryan Cranston in "All The Way," HBO’s adaptation of the Tony-winning Robert Schenkkan play, which covers LBJ (Cranston), from the moment the assassination of John F. Kennedy made Johnson the 36th president of the United States, through a turbulent first year that included the passage of Civil Rights legislation in Congress, up to his landslide re-election victory. Hinds has signed up to play Fannie Lou Hamer, leader of the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party, and McRae will play Stokely Carmichael. In addition to Cranston, they join previously cast Anthony Mackie (who will play MLK).

And finally, Kendrick Sampson ("The Vampire Diaries," "Gracepoint") has signed up to play what is described as a substantive recurring role in the upcoming season 2 of ABC’s Shondaland drama "How to Get Away with Murder," starring Viola Davis.
