Chance The Rapper became a trending topic on Wednesday night when users discovered a tweet featuring trans pornography in the ‘Likes’ section of his Twitter profile.

The tweet in question was shared by an account called @TubeAsiants and promoted links for trans dating, adult games, and webcam services with transgender women and men. Also attached to the tweet was a sexually explicit pornographic video. Upon catching wind of the tweet on Chance The Rapper‘s profile, fans were quick to fill the rapper’s replies. From there, Twitter was set ablaze.

The initial reaction for some fans was to notify the rapper that his likes were in public view.

“Can someone PLEASE tell @chancetherapper his likes are public,” one user wrote.

“NOOOO CHANCE YOUR TWITTER LIKES ARE PUBLIC @chancetherapper,” tweeted another. 

Some Twitter users were shocked and amazed by the Coloring Book rapper’s likes.

“Me checking to see @chancetherapper twitter likes,” a user wrote. 

“CHANCE THE RAPPER LIKING TRANS PORN ON THE TL IM AMAZED LMAO,” another added.

Unfortunately, as was expected, transphobia reared its ugly head amid buzz of the rapper’s Twitter activity. Some users, however, were very supportive and actually reminded social media that there’s nothing wrong with liking trans people.

Chance has since unliked the video and has yet to respond to the commentary.
