It made its debut on January 31 an apparently has been doing very well; I recall a survey I posted asking you folks what you thought of it, and most of you seemed to dig it.
And if you're in that group, you'll be glad to know that Comedy Central has gone ahead and ordered a second season of the new series, just 2 weeks into its first season.
The network has ordered a 10-episode season two of Key & Peele, the original sketch-comedy series from former MadTV cast members, Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele.
Said Comedy Central’s head of original programming Kent Alterman: "Because Key & Peele has been so immediately and universally well received, I was worried if we didn’t give the show a quick pick up, people might accuse me of being racist."
Hah! Kent Alterman's got jokes!
Key & Peele debuted to 2.1 million total viewers, said to be Comedy Central's most watched new series premiere since 2009. Wow! Impressive!
It was #1 in its time slot with the male viewers in the 18-24 and 18-34 demo.
I haven't watched an episode yet, but I plan to eventually.
