Audience members had romance on their minds — a Michonne/Rick pairing was proposed, to which Kirkman said, “Anything is possible.” Reedus piggybacked off the idea, explaining that — because of the shared pain of losing someone — Michonne and Daryl might make a nice pair. “Everyone’s losing people left and right, but both those characters are sort of loner characters who are learning to deal with a group and be part of a group, and I think it’ll just bring us closer together.”
Well, nothing’s definite, and we’ll just have to wait and see if it actually happens when the 4th season of The Walking Dead debuts on October 13 at 9pm.

What can I say, except this should be an interesting season for the series, if only because we really have no idea what direction the various narratives are going to take, after all that transpired last season.
There’ll be 4 black series regulars this time around (Lawrence Gilliard Jr. joins the cast, playing a character named Bob Stookey), so it’s only natural that at least one of them has to die… or maybe not. Maybe we’ll be surprised this season!
As for whether there’ll be a Michonne/Rick romance, I don’t see AMC, the show’s producers and cast being so bold as to give a major plotline like that away in a pre-season panel discussion, but they certainly didn’t shut the door on the idea.
No matter, it is enough fodder to get fans talking…
4th season of The Walking Dead will debut on October 13 at 9pm. It’ll be a 16-episode season, divided into 2 halves.
Still alive and returning next season will be regulars Andrew Lincoln, David Morrissey, Steven Yeun, Norman Reedus, Danai Gurira, Chandler Riggs, Lauren Cohan, Scott Wilson, Melissa McBride, Chad Coleman, Sonequa Martin-Green and Emily Kinney.
