In Charlotte, North Carolina, community leaders and customers of a beauty supply store have called for a boycott after video surfaced of the owner kicking and choking a customer. The truly disturbing part is the excessive force the owner, an Asian man, is using against the customer, a black woman.

Sung Ho Lim is the owner of Missha Beauty and told WBTV the whole altercation started when the woman was caught stealing. However, in the video, you can hear the woman telling Lim, "Check my bag. I don't have anything." Shortly after, you see the two shove each other which then turns into Lim kicking the woman, knocks her to the ground and puts her in a choke hold.

In the cell phone video that has since gone viral, it shows the physical altercation but not the part where she stole an item according to Lim. He has the full footage from a camera in the store and has since given it to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. According to a police report which Lim filed for strong armed robbery, the woman allegedly stole eyelashes from the store and then left the store and fled in a silver Dodge Sedan.

ALL. THIS. OVER. SOME. EYE. LASHES. YALL??

The woman has yet to be identified or arrested but Lim has not been charged and that is not sitting right with people in the community, former customers, and Black Twitter.

"When he was choking her, he was almost choking her to death. She was gasping for breath, and he was continually choking her," said Teresa Mosely, a former customer that used to buy from Missha Beauty three times a week but no longer will after this incident. Teresa was joined by Civil rights activist John C. Barnett, members of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg chapter of the NAACP and others to protest the matter.

"You cannot take police matters in your own hands. You can't act like the police," Barnett said. "Whatever the case may be, we know he cannot be keeping someone in a choke hold, stealing or not."

Lim reached out to the protesters and apologized but it's not enough. How could he turn on the people that go to his store regularly and provide a good quality of life for him and his family? It even got people outraged on Twitter to witness this excessive force happening on camera yet again.

Enough is enough.

Ultimately, the best revenge is our paper.
