Former Breitbart editor-at-large and known conservative Ben Shapiro decided to take a stab at analyzing Cardi B's "Bodak Yellow" lyrics in a recap of last Saturday's Women's March. Why he thought he was the man for the job, nobody knows. But then again, no one is surprised.

The song has become an anthem for female empowerment with several signs at 2018's Women's March containing its lyrics.

"Bodak Yellow" was one of the most popular songs of 2017. But, apparently, Shapiro is so out of touch that the first time he heard of the song was from the Women's March.

“Apparently, there’s some lyrics to a song called ‘Bodak Yellow’. … I’ve never heard of these things so that’s why I analyze them for you,” Shapiro explained. “If I haven’t heard of them, I assume that you haven’t either. Maybe I’m just uninformed.”

Uninformed is an understatement, sir.

In his analytical clip, Shapiro watches the "Bodak Yellow" video while trying to explain it.

“One of the things I do like about this video is that she’s literally riding a camel in the middle of the Arabian desert. That is not a very empowered place,” Shapiro said referencing Cardi B's past as a stripper. “That’s not a place where strippers make a lot of money, in Saudi Arabia."

You mean Dubai, where Cardi B went to film the video?

“I might just chill in some BAPE/I might just chill with your boo/I might just feel on your babe/My pussy feel like a lake/He wanna swim with his face…”

“So now it seems like she’s getting aggressive with other women,” Shapiro said. “I’m missing the part where this is all ‘female solidarity’ when she’s talking about how she’s competing with other women to take their men… If you’re obsessed with your own genitalia, then this is empowering to you.”

We can't make this up, see for yourself.

Perhaps Shapiro should stick to political analysis, although that's not his forte either.
