DaBaby Calls 'Cap' Following Viral Post Saying He Graduated High School With A Low GPA Score

DaBaby briefly spoke about attending The University of North Carolina at Greensboro in a recent interview with Complex. He admits that many people don't even know that he attended college, and because of financial difficulties, he dropped out.

"That's why I'm like, this ain't for me, man; I'm gone," DaBaby said. "Like, I. ain't supposed to come up here and move backward; I was doing better than this in high school." 

DaBaby admits that college isn't the best choice for him but encourages others who have the chance to attend college to at least give it a shot. The rapper said that despite his belief that he could complete his studies if he returned to school, he does not plan to do so.

The Charlotte artist also spoke about his college experience in the Dreamville song "Under the Sun," featuring J. Cole and Lute.

"B*****s call me a jock, all-American / I'm at the top of my class with my letterman/ I remember back in college, b*****s knocking on my dorm door/ I ain't never let 'em in/ Now you know that that's cap, know I hit a few," Dababy rapped.
