Tyra Banks won’t be hosting Dancing With The Stars solo any longer.
It has just been announced that the supermodel, who has been the face of the hit celebrity dance competition series since 2020, will be co-hosting the show with season 19 Mirrorball Champion Alfonso Ribeiro.
Also returning to the ballroom are judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough.
Season 31 of DWTS is set to air on Disney+ this fall, moving from ABC after 30 seasons. The official premiere date will be announced at a later time.
This may be the first time Alfonso Ribeiro and Tyra Banks have hosted a show together, but this isn't the first time they've shared the small screen.
Back in the 1990s, the actors worked on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, which Ribeiro starred. Since then, the two have remained good friends.
“Dancing with the Stars has been such an important part of my life for so many years, and I am ecstatic to officially re-join this tight-knit family as co-host,” Ribeiro said in an in a statement received by S&A. “Tyra and I have a longstanding friendship that I hope will resonate with all of the fans at home as we kick off this new season on Disney+.”
“I’ve known Alfonso since I was 19 years old and he always puts a smile on my face whenever I see him,” said Banks.
“Having such a fun-loving, longtime friend as co-host warms my heart. Plus, he’s won the competition before, so he knows exactly what the stars are going through. Bantering back and forth with him live is going to be so much fun!”
