In a tragic shooting spree at a Waffle House in Antioch,Tennessee, this past Sunday. Four people killed and four others were injured in the incident.

Travis Reinking, 29, was later named the gunman suspected in the shooting. Reinking was believed to be naked and on the run following the murders. Monday afternoon, police officials found Reinking in a wooded area in Nashville, where he was taken into custody, the New York Times reports.

The Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) tweeted the confirmation on their official account.

The Nashville police report the gunman used an AR-15, the same assault rifle used in many other recent mass shootings across the country.

Reinking reportedly has a history with law enforcement, including an incident in which he attempted to cross a White House security barrier in July to meet President Trump. Reinkeing was arrested at that time. Further, according to police reports, family members expressed concern that  he had become delusional, as he made  claims that Taylor Swift was stalking him and hacking his phone and Netflix account.

Reinking's firearms were seized following his arrest at the White House. It is believed they may have been given to his father, who returned them to Reinking.

“He was allowed to do that after he assured deputies that he would keep them secure and away from Travis,” said Tazewell County (Illinois) Sheriff Robert M. Huston in a press conference Sunday. “We have no information about how Travis came back into possession of those firearms.”

The four people killed in Sunday's tragic  shooting were Akilah Dasilva, 23; DeEbony Groves, 21; Joe R. Perez, 20 and Taurean C. Sanderlin, 29. James Shaw, 29, was dubbed a hero, for wrestling away the rifle from Reinking, preventing further fatalities from occurring.
