Talk about a girl's trip! Recently, women from the Spring 2007 line of the Beta Alpha chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. at Florida A&M University took a three day trip to Costa Rica. The 56 women were celebrating the 10 year anniversary of their induction into the sorority.

While there, the women decided to pose for a beach shoot that has been dubbed "Melanin Illustrated," showcasing all the beautiful shades, shapes, and sizes of black women. Something we don't see enough of in mainstream media.

With the hashtags #MelaninIllustrated, #TITEtakescostarica, and #TITEturns10, the women have shared photos of their stunning fun-filled trip to the Central American country on Instagram.

“Our sorority is all about black excellence, ”LaToya Owens, one of the members of the chapter told Yahoo Style. “We want to serve as an example and [show] appreciation of black women. Our commitment is to scholarship and service, and this was to honor the sisterhood.”

You look great ladies! We're basking in your beauty!
