Musically, SZA had one hell of a 2017, landing her five Grammy nominations. Despite being the leading nominated lady, she didn't take home one award.
She was nominated for Best New Artist, Best R&B Song, Best R&B Performance, Best Rap/Sung Collaboration and Best Urban Contemporary Album. However, she lost Best New Artist to Alessia Cara, Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance to Bruno Mars, Best Rap/Sung Collaboration to Kendrick Lamar and Rihanna and Best Urban Contemporary Album to The Weeknd.
As you can imagine, SZA fans are not happy.

sza was the most nominated woman at the grammy's and they didn't give her ONE award. the grammy committee is sniffing crayon shavings.

Y’all….I can’t believe SZA is going home empty-handed. CTRL was one of the best albums of 2017. This whole night is cancelled #GRAMMYs

This is the same Academy that snubbed Queen Bey and Rihanna. Another black woman being snubbed is everything but surprising. Despite going home empty handed, SZA looked absolutely amazing tonight.
