Four young men heard the nation's cry and made it their mission to turn our frowns upside down.

Joe Laquinte, Justin Au, Line Johnsen and Colby Spear took their admiration to a new level by creating a video game based on the "Hold Up" video. As you work through Southern streets smashing car windows and knocking the blocks off of anti-Beyhive trolls, your ears are inundated with the 8-bit version of the single (courtesy of 8-Bit Universe). The ultimate goal is to snatch as many lemons (read: edges) as possible without your health bar dipping too low.

We're totally in.

"When we first saw Beyoncé’s whole Lemonade video we were blown away, especially by the "Hold Up" video," the team of developers said, speaking about their pure excitement and undercover fandom. "The more we thought about the video, we started to realize how it could make for a pretty sick video game."
