Many people were upset with Trump after he insisted that he had "a deep love for the Dreamers," obviously believing that his words were not genuine. Being the child of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., you'd expect his youngest son Dexter King to rip Donald Trump a new one for his stance on the Dreamers.
Well, when TMZ caught up with him at LAX, it was quite the opposite. In a short clip, you can see that he believes we should give Donald Trump the benefit of the doubt when it comes to Dreamers.
"I can only take him at his word, and hopefully his actions," King said. "I think we have to take him at his word initially."
Seeing that Trump isn't exactly a man of his word, giving him the benefit of the doubt is a long shot for most Americans. Dexter may be the only person with enough patience to do so, and even his patience has a time limit.
