Chicago-based Dj duo, The Hood Internet, has cooked up and delivered a pretty impressive video and audio mashup that spans over 40 years of this era we call Hip Hop. Well, we're sure they didn't cover everyone that rocked the mic over the past four decades but they did a pretty excellent job. It would take us 40 years to create the perfect blend.

The video features the usual suspects (B.I.G, Jay Z, Missy, Drake) but also manages to flawlessly slide in songs and artist that will have you taking a trip down YouTube memory lane (Lil Troy, Lil Flip, Beastie Boys). The real story is the duo's ability to seamlessly weave one artist's lyrics with another's familiar instrumentals. Jay Z spit's the verse for I Just Want to Love You over B.G.'s Bling Bling, Chance the Rapper croons over Lauryn Hill's That Thing, at one point Biggie says "it was all a dream!" while The Geto Boys remind us that "it wasn't even close to Halloween."

It's pretty slick.
