Nothing, absolutely nothing, gets past Twitter. Legendary R&B group Dru Hill learned this the hard way when the "We're Not Making Love No More" group posted a photo announcement of a new album on the horizon and the addition of two new members, Jawann “Smoke” Peacock and Benjamin “Black” Bush.

In the photo, each member is wearing a fresh pair of clean, crisp sneakers. But if you look very carefully, you will notice the sneakers worn by the member on the far right are not the real deal, and we're not talking knock-offs. Someone manipulated the man's sneakers with Photoshop, and, of course, they caught significant Twitter backlash for it.

As usual, Twitter's collective reaction is funnier than the sneakers.

But back to the music. In a statement sent to Vibe, Smoke said their album announcement marks the return of R&B.

“I feel like we bring a whole other concept of harmonies and melodies to the table. And not only that, we’re writers, producers, and arrangers," Smoke said. "The vocals that Aaliyah came with in the '90s, the overall feel of Drake’s Take Care album, we were a big part of making that happen, and we’re only going to keep innovating with Dru Hill on this next project. For me, The Second Coming is definitely the resurrection of real R&B. Fans should get ready because as of this fall, R&B is no longer dead.”
