Spike TV has partnered with Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia’s $7 Bucks Productions, for a development deal to create and produce compelling and impactful programming for the network.
Johnson and Garcia will executive produce shows ranging from big live events, specials, sports and initiatives surrounding our troops and veterans. "The goal is to tap into people’s humanity and touch lives, inspiring the audience while entertaining them," the press release states.
"We’re thrilled to be in business with Spike as they build a brand with universal appeal," said Johnson. "Over the next year and beyond we’re going to deliver compelling and powerful programming to entertain, inspire and provide just the right amount of shock and awe to its growing audience base. It’s an exciting partnership, $7 Bucks Productions and Spike are coming to win."

On the small screen, Johnson previously hosted and produced "The Hero," a reality competition series.
On the big screen, he’ll next be seen in "Furious 7," out next month; and "San Andreas," the month after.
