Boris Kodjoe, Nicole Ari Parker and Chris Spencer are proud Bison parents. Both of the vetted actors showed off their firstborns on social media to congratulate them on starting their freshman year at Howard University.

The Instagram post featured several pics of Sophie Kodjoe and Christopher Spencer from newborns, and adolescents, to dorm move-in day, as Because of Them We Can reported.

Spencer wrote in his post, “This week the Kodjoe‘s and the Spencer’s moved in there first bornses into @howard1867. These two have known each other since they were infants as you see from the pictures as you scroll to the left. We parents are so proud that these two will continue to forge ahead with your love and friendship for each other. Sophie and Christopher. We love you. #imnotcryingyourecrying.”

Kodjoe also shared his thoughts about the kids attending the legendary HBCU with a Facebook post that also reflected on the years of Sophie and Christopher’s friendship. The cute post ended with an ultimate dad joke.

He wrote, “This dude @therealchrisspencer and I have been brothers for 25 years and today we shared another milestone when we moved our firstborns into their college dorm rooms at @howard1867. Sophie-cakes and Lil’ Chris have been day-ones since day 1 and are now sharing their first big milestone with each other. These two HU dads are so proud and happy. Good luck on your journey, guys. Now hurry up and graduate, get a job and pay us back all that tuition money (plus interest) that we loaned you. Love you.”

Fully stepping into her campus life, Sophie posted herself on “the yard” for the first time as a freshman. The campus was full of students, activities and a bouncy house. She wore a grey fitted short-sleeve and baggy denim cargo pants.

Kodjoe wasted no time squeezing in a joke in the comments of the photo. “I’m a bit confused by the bouncy castle in the BG. Is that where my tuition $$$ goes? 🤷🏾‍♂️.”

Congrats to the Spencer and Kodjoe families.
