Tami Roman is back with more of MTV’s Caught in the Act: Unfaithful as it returns for a new season Jan. 9 at 9/8c.
Shadow and Act has the exclusive look at the promo, which shows Roman and relationship coach Ken Canion helping love’s victims as they expose cheaters and get answers. The video shows truth being revealed, cheaters getting ambushed and in one person’s case, the adrenaline and anxiety becoming just too much.
The series has been a ratings juggernaut for MTV and its former home VH1 when it premiered in 2022. So it only makes sense that MTV would come back for more chances to expose cheating partners. As the official description states:
Caught in the Act: Unfaithful tracks host Tami Roman as she sets out to explore complex relationships, and the stakes are higher than ever. Sexual identities are explored, long term marriages may end in divorce, and the “rules of relationships” are broken and rewritten. Each episode stands alone as the “Suspicious Lover” enlists Tami, Coach Ken Canion, and a handpicked investigation squad to uncover the shocking truths. With the potentially eye-opening evidence, the suspicious lover can choose to team up with their partner’s other lover or take them both down in an undercover ambush.
In the end, Tami will empower the suspicious lover to either move forward with their partner or move on from their relationship for good. This is what happens when three hearts are on the line, two relationships are at stake, and one trap could change everything.
The series is executive produced by Lashan Browning, Donna Edge-Rachell, Alissa Horowitz, Daniel Weiner, Paris Bauldwin, Maricarmen Lopez and Rich Allen for Antoinette Media. Roman serves as consulting producer, with MTV’s Sitarah Pendelton-Eaglin and Jennifer Aguirre executive producing.
