Coco Gauff is no stranger to making big moves on the tennis court, and she recently celebrated a major personal achievement: graduating from high school.
The young athlete celebrated this accomplishment while in Paris for the 2022 Roland-Garros Tournament, aka the French Open.
“I did it. No [cap],” Gauff captioned her upload, which was made up of stunning photos in front of the ever-picturesque Eiffel Tower.
Many young, big-name stars congratulated Gauff in the comment section, including fellow tennis star Naomi Osaka, actress Storm Reid and rapper Maliibu Miitch.
Gauff made her upload just a few days before competing in the tournament, which lasts from May 16 to June 5, 2022. She came out victorious in her match against Canada’s Rebecca Marino, and she’ll soon go head-to-head against Belgium’s Alison Van Uytvanck.
While Gauff has been doing well in the tournament so far, the Florida native was notably warned about her father’s hand signals by a referee, as they “could be interpreted as coaching.”
“I was just asking her, like, what signals that he’s showing, because, like, for me, I don’t see anything. But she told me she was telling me to be careful because some of his signals or whatever he was doing with his hands could be interpreted as coaching, and I was just letting her know that I can’t tell him not to do what he’s doing with his hands because we have no coaching,” Gauff said of the matter.
“But, at the end of the day, she was just doing her job,” she added. “I was just doing my job, I guess, as a player and defending my integrity.”

Gauff began garnering significant attention in professional tennis in 2018 when she was only 14 years old. She has proven herself to be a force to be reckoned with, as the then-17-year-old athlete made it to the quarterfinals at the 2021 French Open.
She also made it to the Australian Open quarterfinals in 2020 and 2021.
