Blavity’s Shadow and Act has an exclusive preview of Cynthia Erivo‘s upcoming conversation with Kevin Hart in the new season of his Peacock talk show, Hart to Heart.

In the episode, per Peacock, Erivo “sits down with Kevin to talk about the early days of her musical theater career, the career-defining moment she found out she would play Elphaba in the upcoming film Wicked, and how she even ran a half marathon before performing in back-to-back shows.” 

In the first of the two clips below, Erivo discusses adjusting to New York and realizing she wasn’t going to return home.
