Lil Rel Howery is trying to convince Ludacris that he is actually Santa Claus in the upcoming Disney+ holiday film, Dashing Through the Snow.

In the exclusive clip below, Nick (Howery) is a mysterious guy who needs a man named Eddie (Ludacris) and his daughter’s (Madison Skye Validum) help in saving Christmas. But first, he has to convince Eddie that he actually is Santa Claus. His efforts to make him believe run into a snag when he sees his toy warehouse completely empty.

Nick’s hope to make Eddie believe will have to be huge, since as the film’s description states, Eddie believes Nick is someone who needs medical help, not someone who needs to save Christmas. According to the description:

Eddie Garrick (Chris “Ludacris” Bridges) is a good-hearted man who has turned his back on Christmas due to a traumatic childhood experience. At the request of his wife Allison Garrick (Teyonah Parris), from whom he is separated, Eddie takes his 9-year-old daughter Charlotte (Madison Skye Validum) out with him on Christmas Eve, where they meet a mysterious man in a red suit named Nick (Lil Rel Howery). Eddie, who is a social worker, thinks the man is delusional and needs professional help, but when he evokes the wrath of a local politician (Oscar Nuñez), he and his daughter are taken on a magical adventure that just might restore his faith in Christmas.

Other stars include Teyonah Parris, Ravi V. Patel, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Gina Brillon, Sebastian Sozzi, Kevin Connolly and Zulay Henao.

The film is directed by Tim Story and written by Scott Rosenberg. John Jacobs and Will Packer produce, while Story, Johanna Byer, Ross Fanger and Zac Unterman executive produce. Dashing Through the Snow comes to Disney+ Nov. 17.
