Is Foundation coming back for a season 3 at Apple TV+? The answer is yes!
Apple TV+ has officially renewed the science fiction series. or a third season after the success of its second season. The saga, based on Isaac Asimov’s award-winning stories, is spearheaded by David S. Goyer.
Goyer also serves as executive producer alongside Alex Graves, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Bill Bost and Robin Asimov.
Goyer expressed his excitement, stating, “I’m thrilled Apple has given us the opportunity to continue chronicling Asimov’s pioneering galactic saga. This time, the stakes for Foundation and Empire are even higher as the Mule takes center stage, along with fan-favorites Bayta, Toran, Ebling, and Magnifico Giganticus.”
Matt Cherniss, Head of Programming for Apple TV+, lauded the series’ success, emphasizing its global popularity and the anticipation for the upcoming season.

Lee Pace and Jared Harris lead the series’ cast with Lou Llobell, Leah Harvey, Laura Birn, Cassian Bilton, Terrence Mann, Isabella Laughland, Kulvinder Ghir, Ella-Rae Smith, Holt McCallany, Rachel House, Nimrat Kaur, Ben Daniels, and Dimitri Leonidas rounding the cast out.
