Zack Morris’ character Isaiah withstands a creepy conversation with his high school coach Nathan Bratt (Justin Long) in an exclusive clip from the upcoming Disney+ reboot of Goosebumps.

The series, which is set to come to the streaming service Oct. 13, brings the popular ’90s book series (as well as one of the bestselling book series of all time) back to new audiences with updated takes on the series’ most iconic scares. The Disney+ series draws from elements in books including Say Cheese and Die!, The Haunted Mask, The Cuckoo Clock of Doom, Go Eat Worms, and the Mickey Mouse of the Goosebumps series, Night of the Living Dummy.

More about the series according to the official description:

Plunging viewers into a world of mystery and suspense, the new “Goosebumps” series follows a group of five high schoolers as they embark on a shadowy and twisted journey to investigate the tragic passing three decades earlier of a teen named Harold Biddle — while also unearthing dark secrets from their parents’ past.

The series also stars Isa Briones, Ana Yi Puig, Will Price, Miles McKenna, Rachael Harris and Rob Huebel.

Disney Branded Television President Ayo Davis said in a statement how Goosebumps will entertain both new audiences and those familiar with the book franchise.

“R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps franchise is a pop culture phenomenon that holds a special place in the hearts of people of all ages,” said Davis. “We are delighted to bring this spooky new series to audiences everywhere in a big way on Disney+ and Hulu, which we hope will not only captivate new audiences with its elevated thrills and chills, but also lifelong fans nostalgic for the stories that are a staple of their generation.”
