grown-ish has been renewed for its sixth season at Freeform.
This comes as the second half of the fifth season is coming soon to the network.
The new trailer forr the midseason return shows Junior (Marcus Scribner) going through more ups and downs of college life as he figures out how to be his own person and get out from under his older sister Zoey’s (Yara Shahidi) shadow. He also finds love, but currently, it’s unrequited–not only will Junior have to withstand his crush, but will also have to deal with being friendzoned.
Along with Scribner and Shahidi, the show also stars Trevor Jackson, Diggy Simmons and Daniella Perkins. Other members of the cast include Tara Raani, Justine Skye, Amelie Zilber, Ceyair Wright, Matthew Sato and Slick Woods.

The fifth season returns Jan. 18 at 10:30/9:30 c.
Junior has been doing a ton of college milestones, including pledging in a fraternity. Fans will be able to see more of Junior’s college life later on as well; the show has been renewed for a sixth season.
