The latest trailer and posters for the Jordan Peele-produced football horror film Him showcases stars Tyriq Withers and Marlon Wayans in horrifying grandeur.

Withers, who is a former college wide-receiver, is shown in a Christ-like pose walking down the football field with faceless cheerleaders behind him. Oh–and he’s covered in blood. Wayans, on the other hand, is shown with all of his character’s Super Bowl rings. But he looks menacing with one of his eyes crying blood.

The blood and body horror continues in the new trailer, which gives a closer look at just how scary Wayans’ character, Isaiah White, is. Between intentionally injuring people with footballs, injecting drugs, and just being an overall toxic person, White wants to push Withers to his limit in order to make him better. But does it actually make him better or does it just tear him down?

Here’s more about the film from the official synopsis:

HIM stars former college wide-receiver Tyriq Withers as Cameron Cade, a rising-star quarterback who has devoted his life, and identity, to football. On the eve of professional football’s annual scouting Combine, Cam is attacked by an unhinged fan and suffers a potentially career-ending brain trauma.

Just when all seems lost, Cam receives a lifeline when his hero, Isaiah White (Wayans), a legendary eight-time Championship quarterback and cultural megastar, offers to train Cam at Isaiah’s isolated compound that he shares with his celebrity influencer wife, Elsie White (Julia Fox). But as Cam’s training accelerates, Isaiah’s charisma begins to curdle into something darker, sending his protégé down a disorienting rabbit hole that may cost him more than he ever bargained for.
