Jade Cargill is, and continues to be, “That B**ch.” Especially when you’re going for your record 60th consecutive win, you better come out doing something special, and for her pay-per-view look, that’s exactly what Cargill did. 

Ready to defend her TBS title against Taya Valkyrie on Sunday night’s AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view, the former champion — sporting a pink and green matching set with a silver bob accented by pink and green highlights —  made her grand entrance flanked by several sorority members clad in matching, hot pink catsuits.

In an epic, elaborate dance routine featuring her line sisters from the AKA, or Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., the women’s division star strolled the runway as she was introduced to the ring by rapper Big Boss Vette’s hit song “Pretty Girls Walk.”

This isn’t the first time the wrestling champion has paid homage to her beloved sorority. During the Double Or Nothing match in 2022, her solo approach was more subtle, with Cargill donning a pink and green wig, AKA-colored makeup and metallic pink boots.

The 30-year-old took to Twitter to provide context about the sorority swag on display inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV, for those unaware of its significance.

“My colors and entrance was paid homage to my sorority,” the first-ever TBS Women’s Champion tweeted. “I am a PROUD member of AKA. It is the oldest Greek-letter organization established by African American college-educated women. Very personal but I wanted to bring Greek life to the wrestling world.”

“It was amazing to stroll with my line sisters, my prophyte, neo and soror. What an honor. (I know a lot of that will go over your heads) lol,” she added.

 Their mission is “to cultivate and encourage high scholastic and ethical standards, to promote unity and friendship among college women, to study and help alleviate problems concerning girls and women in order to improve their social stature, to maintain a progressive interest in college life, and to be of ‘Service to All Mankind,’” according to the Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA) website.

Following her reign as TBS Champion for over 500 days, Cargill made history by defeating Taya Valkyrie to record her 60th straight victory. However, her title was jeopardized when she opened the challenge to returning Kris Statlander, to whom she lost in the double-or-nothing round, which also happened to be her very first loss ever in AEW.

“It’s been a wild wild ride. Went for double and got nothing. #DoN. Still THAT B**CH.” Cargill tweeted in reference to the devastating blow.

Clearly, this loss isn’t keeping Cargill down, and as she awaits the next opportunity to get back on top, we can count on her repping her sorority background as a motivator to her success.
