Amazon MGM Studios has released the first teaser trailer for Masters of the Universe, starring Nicholas Galitzine, Camila Mendes, Idris Elba and more. The live-action adventure film is based on the classic ’80s toy brand.

The film also stars Alison Brie, James Purefoy, Morena Baccarin, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson and Charlotte Riley, with Jared Leto, and featuring Kristen Wiig as the voice of “Roboto.”

In MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE, Director Travis Knight brings the legendary franchise back to the big screen in this epic live-action adventure. After being separated for 15 years, the Sword of Power leads Prince Adam (Galitzine) back to Eternia where he discovers his home shattered under the fiendish rule of Skeletor (Leto). To save his family and his world, Adam must join forces with his closest allies, Teela (Mendes) and Duncan/Man-At-Arms (Elba), and embrace his true destiny as He-Man — the most powerful man in the universe.

Directed by Travis Knight, the film features a screenplay by Chris Butler and Aaron Nee & Adam Nee & Dave Callaham, with a story by Aaron Nee & Adam Nee and Alex Litvak & Michael Finch. It’s based on Masters of the Universe by Mattel. The project is produced by Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, Robbie Brenner, Steve Tisch and DeVon Franklin, with Ynon Kreiz, Bill Bannerman and David Bloomfield serving as executive producers.
