Jermaine Fowler and Justin Long are front and center in the new, retro-style poster for vampire action-thriller Night Patrol.

The poster, exclusive to Blavity’s Shadow and Act, is reminiscent of the hand-drawn posters for ’80s and early ’90s action-thrillers, giving movie fans an indication of what kind of feel Night Patrol is going for. The poster also features the rest of the cast, including RJ Cyler, Freddie Gibbs, CM Punk, YG, Flying Lotus, Dermot Mulroney, Jon Oswald and Nicki Micheaux.

What is ‘Night Patrol’ about

According to the synopsis, “An LAPD officer must put aside his differences with the area’s street gangs when he discovers a local police task force is harboring a horrific secret that endangers the residents of the housing projects he grew up in.”

The film has already debuted at Fantastic Fest, impressing critics, including Black Nerd Problems. As writer Frantz Jerome wrote in his review, “Night Patrol is a sledgehammer with a tac light on it, talking right to the hood about how untouchable and invincible the police feel in American society. Somehow, this indie genre film relays the overwhelming desperation and anger of the Black experience without ever feeling preachy or overbearing.”

When is ‘Night Patrol’ in theaters?

Night Patrol comes to theaters Jan. 16, 2026.
