HBO has dropped the trailer for its upcoming Steve Carell comedy series, Rooster, which is from Bill Lawrence and Matt Tarses.
The series is described as “a comedy set on a college campus,” which centers “on an author’s (Carell) complicated relationship with his daughter (Charly Clive).”
The cast also includes Danielle Deadwyler, Phil Dunster, John C. McGinley, and Lauren Tsai.
Co-showrunners Lawrence and Tarses executive produce with Jeff Ingold, Liza Katzer, Jonathan Krisel, Barbie Adler, Annie Mebane, David Stassen, Anthony King, David Hyman and Carell.
Warner Bros. Television is the studio, and Doozer and Tarses both have overall deals at WBTV.
When does ‘Rooster’ premiere?
The 10-episode first season debuts March 8 on HBO, with episodes debuting weekly until May 10.
