Vince Staples has been going through some things, according to the newly released trailer for Season 2 of The Vince Staples Show.

The Netflix series is returning for its second season, which eager fans have been anticipating since the series first debuted on the streamer in February 2024.

Guest stars this season include Vanessa Bell Calloway, Naté Jones and Zack Fox.

What happens in the Season 2 trailer for ‘The Vince Staples Show’?

The clip opens with a shot of Staples peering down into a stairwell before cutting to a montage of him walking through scenes that appear to be from various episodes of the forthcoming new season.

His on-screen sister, Bri (Jones), narrates the visuals, noting that she’s never considered the responsibilities that burden her brother.

From the shootout ending at the swap meet between Staples and a childhood rival (unknownst to him until that day) to conclude the first season, to the recent death of his Uncle James, we meet him in the teaser in transit, seemingly running from something in almost every clip.

“In the wake of a tragic death, Vince embarks on a wild journey in search of inner peace,” reads the official season logline. “However, his path is littered with reminders of his haunted past.”

The trailer concludes with a bruised and battered Staples stopping for a flick with a fan before the ultimate question is posed – “I love your show. When is Season 2 happening?” asked the actor, posing as a fan.
