Beast Games’ second season is right around the corner.
“After a record-shattering first season, Beast Games is back! Bigger, bolder, and more intense than ever. MrBeast has assembled 100 of the planet’s strongest competitors and 100 of the world’s smartest minds,” reads the series’ previously-released synopsis. “‘Strong vs. Smart’ will battle for an eye-watering $5,000,000 prize. As players face off in the ultimate collision of brain and biceps; alliances will form and trust will break. Every challenge pushes the limits of human strength, intelligence and strategy. What wouldn’t you do for $5,000,000?”
During its first season debut, Beast Games quickly became the most-watched unscripted series in Prime Video history, drawing in 50 million viewers after just 25 days on the streamer.
Here’s the premiere date for ‘Beast Games’ Season 2
The record-breaking series from creator MrBeast will return with weekly episodes starting Jan. 7
As the second season prepares to hit the platform, Amazon previously revealed that the show has additionally been renewed for a third season during an upfront presentation last May.
Who won the first season of ‘Beast Games’?
A contestant from Ohio named Jeffrey Allen won the first season of Beast Games, taking home a historic $10 million prize after correctly guessing which briefcase contained the grand prize on his first try.
Following his victory, Allen said that he aims to use a portion of the money to fund research for his son’s rare disease, creatine transporter deficiency.
What happened to Mia Speight in ‘Beast Games’ Season 1?
In February 2025, Blavity’s Shadow and Act spoke with another Beast Games contestant, Mia Speight, who revealed that competing against 1,000 other people for a massive $5 million prize was no easy feat. Yet, she powered through, making it to Episode 6 of 10 and walking away as a winner after being awarded her own island.
“It felt good, bittersweet to a point because I thought I would make it further, but on my merit, I wanted it to be based on my own merits. But I did everything I wanted to do — but it was like the time was almost too short, if that makes sense. It was like I wanted to experience everything possible in the game,” Speight said. “So I felt like … this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and it will never probably be presented to me again, so I felt blessed that I got a chance to get to a level in the game that was high enough that I could better myself, overcome challenges and also show people it can be done, no matter how much the odds are against you.”
Jimmy Donaldson, also known as MrBeast, will return as host and will executive produce. Other executive producers are co-creators Tyler Conklin and Mack Hopkins.
